Terms of Use

 

Financing of projects which are in accordance with the conditions of using EIB funds is enabled up to the amount of 50% of the project value in the part of the line intended to priority projects (30% of EIB financing line).

Financing of projects which are in accordance with the conditions of using EIB funds is enabled up to the amount of 100% of the project value in the part of the line intended to creation of new and existing available work places (70% of EIB financing line).

·         All leasing subjects, except travel vehicles can be financed by these funds

·         Tenor of the agreement on financial leasing must be longer than 2 (two) years

·         SME (with related entities) must have less than 250 employees

·         Mid-Cap company (with related entities) must not have more than 3,000 employees

·         The user cannot execute the activity which is at the EIB list of forbidden activities

 

The user must be an autonomous company. Autonomous companies are those which meet the following criteria:

·         Less than 25% of capital is in the ownership of other company or a private individual, or

·         25% or more capital is in the ownership of other legal entity or a private individual, but the group has less than 250 workers on consolidated level, or

·         25% or more capital is in the ownership of a public authority (usually the Municipality) and such authority has the annual budget lower than EUR 10 million and less than 5000 workers

·         Up to 50% of capital is owned by the company or an institution whose task is to promote SME in accordance with the exceptions stated in Annex of the Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC as of 6 May 2003. Article 3 paragraph 2 (i.e. capital investments or “business angels”, providing that they invest less than EUR 1.25 mil in the same company - universities and non-profit research centers, institutional investors, including regional development funds)

 

A Mid-Cap must be an autonomous company, therefore:

·         The capital which does not belong to a Mid-Cap (%) cannot be higher than 25% of the total capital

·         If more than 25% of the capital does not belong to a Mid-Cap, the group must have less than 3,000 employees on consolidated level

·         If 25% or more than 25% of capital is owned by a public authority and such authority is local self-government with annual budget lower than EUR 10 mil, there must be less than 5000 residents at the area of such authority

·         Up to 50% of capital is owned by the company or an institution in accordance with the exceptions stated in Annex of the Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC as of 6 May 2003.
