What can our application do?

We have created an mBanking solution that will allow you to manage your finances anywhere and anytime, without going to the bank.

  • Display of all products on the overview;
  • Insight into the balance and turnover of all your accounts, when and where it suits you;
  • Scan the QR code from the bill and pay the bill in seconds;
  • Foreign currency payments;
  • Login and signing of orders with the biometric data
  • Viewing statements within the application and downloading to a mobile device;
  • Temporary blocking and unblocking of payment cards;
  • Determining the limit of transactions made with payment cards at ATMs and POS terminals;
  • Limiting the use of payment cards at ATMs or POS terminals;
  • Receiving payment receipts in the form of transfer orders;
  • Within the application itself, you can seek support or advice from us;
  • Use the services of an online exchange office, at a rate that is more favorable than the Bank's official exchange rate list;
  • Manage standing and contractual standing orders;
  • Insight into the details of the loan and downloading the repayment plan.

The New “Prenesi” Payment Service

The “Prenesi” payment service is now available on mBanking app. This is a service of instant payment to someone’s telephone number. This way, you can simply transfer the funds, without knowing the recipient’s account number. The amount you can transfer by this service is up to RSD 300,000.00.

On the other hand, if you want to receive funds to your telephone number, and you have an account at Erste Bank, it is necessary to register first. 

There are two ways to register for this service:

  • Click on Profile, then on the icon in the upper right corner (Settings) and after that Prenesi settings will lead you to the screen where you can register. On this screen, you will find the field Register for Prenesi. By clicking on it, you will see the screen where you can check for information, and it everything is OK, you should click on Confirm and enter your PIN or confirm the action by biometrics (Face ID or fingerprint).
  • By clicking on Payments at the home screen, and then on Prenesi, you will see the field Register for Prenesi. The following process is the same as with the previous explanation.

 

Log In and Signing the Order by Biometrics

Biometric data is a special type of data where a unique characteristic of each application user is recorded, such as a face scan or fingerprint.

Biometric unlocking makes it easier to use the app. You can also confirm payments in the mBanking application with a fingerprint or face scan.

To use the application, you can still use the standard way with entering a code, but also the most advanced way through biometric data - fingerprint or face scan.

In order to activate the registration and payment confirmation with biometric data, you need to go to the “Profile” section and then click on “Biometric Settings”.

After clicking on the “Biometric settings” field, a screen will appear where you can enable login to the application with a fingerprint or face scan (depending on the device), as well as enable payment confirmation in this way.

What is important to emphasize is that, if logging into the application with biometric data is not included, it will not be possible to include signing the order in the same way. That is, it is possible to include both login and payment confirmation or just login to the application with biometric data.

How to activate my application?

 

Transfer to the new application is very simple, and you can do it all from any place.

  • Download the new application on the stores;
  • If are you  existing user select „Existing client” option;
  • Input your personal identification number;
  • If are you new customer or non-resident select ,,New client / Non-resident”.

Unless you have used mBanking so far, it will be necessary to first arrange this service at any branch of the Bank. 

Application activation codes

After inputting your personal identification number in the new application, and when we confirm your identity based on the input personal identification number, you will receive:

  1. email code valid for 72 hours and
  2. SMS code valid for 72 hours.

Enter the received codes in the appropriate fields to continue activating the application. 

Unless you have been able to activate the application prior to code expiry, don’t worry, you can re-send them in the same way or call us 0800 201 201 ili 021 423 364.

The application use after the activation is so easy!

In the course of the activation and initial log-on to new mBanking, define the four digit PIN, which will be used for any further log-on to the application and signing of payment order, and you are ready for the new application use.

How to activate Erste mBanking?

  • If you have used the mBanking application before, you do not need to come to the Bank. Start the application and select the "Existing client" option. Enter your JMBG, and in a few moments, you will receive the activation codes to your e-mail address and via SMS. The codes are valid for 72 hours. Then define your four-digit PIN.
  • If you have not used mBanking application before, it will be necessary to first contract this service at any branch of the Bank. After contracting the service at the Bank, select the "New client/foreign citizen" option. Enter your JMBG, and within a few moments, you will receive the activation codes to your e-mail address and via SMS. The codes are valid for 72 hours. Then define your four-digit PIN.
